A splendid Massachusetts overnighter with a perfect crew. Set off from Tree House Brewing on a winding dirt-centric course out to Hawley in Kenneth Dubuque State Forest. Arrived at the lean to with scant light to spare, sat around the fire and reveled in the glorious day had.
No one was much the worse for the 29 degree F overnight temperatures. We set off again on gorgeous trails and roads, with much climbing. A few late in the day confusions led to the crew getting separating and losing much time trying to reconnect. In the end we had to beeline for the finish in darkness. Was hilarious and wonderful.
