Wonderful art on the abandoned buildings (former housing for hydroelectric workers) along the Rio JĂşcar in Casas de Ves, Spain. Ambling on a dirt road and having this rise out of the woods lifted my day.

I spent an hour here in slow reflection, encouraged by these warm long cyclical days. An aridity that makes for crisp boundaries between flashes of proximal poetry, my experience of Spanish words in my mouth and mind recovered from childhood hearings.
